About the gathering

A market shaped by season, land, and local aliveness.

Mabon marks the second harvest in the global south: a time to notice what has ripened, what has been made possible, and what abundance looks like when shared in community.

This gathering brings that feeling into the open through local producers, seasonal food, music, conversation, children’s wonder, and a warm atmosphere rooted in Beeja Mara and Pure Mountain Farm.

Experience

The day holds more than a market.

Local producers

Fresh produce, artisan goods, seasonal treats, and stalls that make the harvest visible.

Music & firelight

Live music, drumming, and bonfire warmth carry the gathering past a simple daytime browse.

Flooting Grooves performing live with flute and headphones

Music by Flooting Grooves

A live musical thread woven through the day, bringing playful movement, atmosphere, and sonic texture to the market.

Seasonal reflection

A gentle invitation to notice the turning season and the abundance already in hand.

Roof repair raffle

Support the space through a community raffle while enjoying open space and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Seasonal note

A southern-hemisphere harvest, named with intention.

In the south, autumn arrives as many northern calendars are turning toward spring. This event chooses to honor the season under our own feet: harvest time, thanksgiving, local food, and a more grounded relationship to the cycles that shape everyday life.

Fruit wines

All my fruit wines generally go through 2 ferments and I use no artificial flavorings or preservatives. Ingredients used are: fruit, rain water, brown cane sugar and wine yeast. All wines get racked at least once and then bottled for at least 3 months before they are ready for release.
